One of the biggest parts of planning an event is actually getting people to RSVP or register to attend. Without guests we don't have an event. 

Whether its an internal company event and people need to RSVP, and event for your clients where they need to register, or a ticketed event for the community - 90% of events require us to capture who and how many are attending.

This week I chatted with Adam McCurdie, the Co-Founder of Humanitix, to get his insights on how to do event registration well.

• Keep the registration form simple and short (ask more questions post-registration if you need to)
• Don't have too many 'ticket' types, you'll overwhelm people
• Be really clear on exactly who the event is for and speak to them
